Benjamin Eaches:
A.K.A. Benjamin Eachus.

Eachus Family World Tree website Benjamin, born 1759, Goshen, Chester County.

Eachus Family World Tree website "notes" Goshen Minutes: 9.4.1784 Benjamin Eachus disowned-mustering -- trying to verify this information.

Ben Eaches is recorded in the Militia Roles -- 1783-1790 [Bedford County to York County] (pub? in 1907).  It states The Neams in Westtown Muster Roll, and lists a bunch of men in the company.  Among the men is "Ben Eaches."  At the bottom it states "October 1787 A Return of the Neams of the Melitica in Westtown and the District thereto Belonging.  By John Brown, Capt. Westtown Company. Sworn. " Obviously he had mustered in earlier since he was disowned in 1784.  I see two possibilities, either he joined up late in the American Revolution, or he caught the excitement of state militias (state guard, if you will) that sprang up following the war, as a means of defending the state in the case of another invasion.  Further details would be necessary in order to know the answer to that.
